The Thing About Deer....

Since we live so close to the Mountains its no surprise that we see deer all the time on campus, at our Apartments the cemetery just below us etc.... Not near so well built as those from Wisconsin, but nonetheless they aren't a strange sight.

What is a strange sight is seeing one dead in a pile of snow, probably from being hit by a car.

So what to my wondering eyes should I see as I walked to campus on the first day of school? A dead deer, one passing person said this "Looks like Bambi didn't make it through winter." Lets just hope this isn't a bad omen for the semester....
