They're Getting Big

>> Monday, May 3, 2010

Mary came over this weekend and saw the pups. She wanted a pic of them with here, so I utilized photobooth until I can figure out where I packed the camera...

I remember when they fit in both my hands and now they're 3-4 times as big. I'm going to be better about taking more pictures of them growing, and hopefully not just sleeping or being held by others.

This is Link's we are not amused face.
Eat mary's chin.
Link looking like a coyote.

Memo to self:

Odin is particularly hard to take pictures of in bad light.
The front room is not particularly well lit.
Find camera that is packed away somewhere and take pictures of the pups in better light and maybe even outside.

The pic Mary posted on her blog is here.

Ironically its the link of Link looking like a coyote and Odin just sitting.

So, what do you do to get good pictures of animals and pets and what do you do to encourage yourself to take pictures?

Thanks,

A

I try to take pictures of our kids one day a week on the same day, usually Sunday when they are all clean and dressed nicely. It's hard to remember to take pictures sometimes. I always keep the camera handy and in the same spot, for those spontaneous cute moments.
We have a room in our house that has skylights so the lighting is always awesome during the day, so I think outside light is best.
Having someone there with you when taking pictures helps too, they can occupy the subjects and make a crazy noise to get them to look at the camera.
Aunt Sue is awesome with a camera, I'm sure she could give you some tips!
Good luck! I can't wait to see what you come up with, they are cute little guys!
